started making a M1A2 abrams tank. taking time. but can anybody tell me how to make tags in gmax/3ds max. and are there any M1A2 tanks made already?

been modeling max for years… i dont know what you mean with tag tho, do you have the md3 exporter?

the piece of the model that i attach triggerst turrets etc to so they move with the tank model. havent you ever made tanks or sth?’

Ready to play?
Last week i’ve worked on my fruity machine.
The machine now is really functional.

  • the score is kept and displayed
  • potential win-score is displayed
  • double (or loose) your win-score by coin-toss betting
  • 3 rolls, 6 buttons (3xhold, collect/reset, coin-toss bet, start)
  • indicator lights (score symbols, stars and machine-name)
  • multiple sounds

I’ve made a (playable) PK3 with only the machine in it.
The .MAP-file is included… for anybody to examine how it is constructed.

You are allowed to copy the complete machine into Your own map… but be aware that there are a lot of resource files for just this 1 fruit-gadget.
Furthermore, it uses several globalaccums and (remapped)shaders… and lots of script-routines

you started it way back when i saw it in UJE_00 but now its finished, this is the best little game iv seen, now the ppl who arent so good in fragging can play, maybe use this slot machine in an obj xD. like to open a gate for faster access.

With some more scripting and a model resembling the slot machine, you could do it. However, it won’t work at a spot where it gets dropped, only at the start or capture point.

An objective to take along?.. The machine is assembled from parts which are not connected/attached. If You would create it as a model, it might function as an objective… But that would really be insane :slight_smile:

It is not hard to let something happen when someone gets a specific score,…
