(Darkix) #1

I tried, but I suck.
Can someone tell me how to do mapcoordsmins and mapcoordsmaxs?
I tried putting pics on but over the limit :stuck_out_tongue:

First, click on a brush, press “n” and write:
-mapcoordsmaxs ( bottom right corner), put your mouse at the end of 2 walls and then look below line, there should be written the coords.
-mapcoordsmin, (top left corner) do the same.

Now, you should be ok :stuck_out_tongue:

I know how to write them, I don’t know how to figure out what they are.

well, mapcoordsmaxs and mapcoordsmins just tell to the game how big your map is.

This also help for cmd map, otherwise you could make a box like 50000, 50000. But this is not necessary and alod would lower your fps ( probably)

Like I don’t know what mine are.

With your map open in Radiant, concentrate on the 2D window. Make sure the view is displaying the XY axis.

The mapcoordsmins is the top, left point expressed with a negative X value and positive Y value.

In this pic, key=mapcoordsmins, value= -256 256

The mapcoordsmaxs is the bottom, right point expressed with a positive X value and a negative Y value.

In this pic, key=mapcoordsmaxs, value 256 -256
