just got done playing it for a few and its an awesome looking map!
reminds me of a single player map from rtcw, it looks that good!

only things i could find wrong are some ‘invisible’ walls in areas where it would be nice
to jump from rooftop to rooftop, etc…

and being the map is so big, dual objectives would be really nice!

and since you went to the trouble of creating such a cool looking boat to escape
with the gold, lets get those rocket engines going so we can see the boat move!!

keep up the great work!!

all I can say is WOW. I’m going to recommend this to any server i go to. this looks absolutely sick. where do you guys find all these dark-esque castle style textures that look good in Wolfenstein? if you made them, what’s your copyright policy?

wouldn’t that be copyright violation? I don’t think I can take something from a retail game and put it in a free one (Wolf: ET). I saw the marketgarden author did that, in his pk3 there were tons of textures from the RTCW retail game.

wow, first off i love the castle, they are ahrder to make then ymsot people think. And the inside of the rooms, look so amazing. that one screen jsut blew me away(2nd row, middle) its looks very realistic. i cant wait to paly it…

i supose in theory its illegal and shoulnt be done. But in practice i doubt you will be hunted down for using some rtcw in ET… Like porting rtcw to ET

anyway i hope its not cos my current map uses quite a few rtcw textures… Its just quicker than creating new ones to get the same effect

Very nice map, I enjoyed your work on Sector 47 and it looks like this will be another good one. I took a quick one through so there might be a couple more issues, but the only ones I could find were…

Near the beginning of the map, near the allied spawn, the first door that leads to the dungeon has a pop up that says, you are near side door. When you plant dyno, it says “dynamite planted at main door”. The other door that’s accessible is correct, side door, side door.

There’s also one other thing. Near the edge of the castle, on the top floor outside, there’s a ladder right near the edge of the playing board (or so it appears). It is VERY easy to fall off into the abyss (the grey void, or is that supposed to be fog?)

It would be nice if you turned on the fountain and made it deep enough for it to make sense to use the splashing sound, or at least turned it on (even if it isn’t deep enough).

Keep up the good work. There any other maps that you have done, besides this and Sector 47? If so, which ones and where can I get them? Thanks.

The first part of this map reminds me of mp_chateau in a very vague way. The first time I ran through this map I got stuck an area between one of the large curved staircases and the wall. You might want to clip those areas off (I believe there is one on either side).

This is a brilliant map, like everyone else has been saying. Nice atmosphere and I liked the gargoyle models. Hope to be seeing more maps from SiX. :slight_smile:

hey i just played it and like i said before, its very good looking. Its huge too, i got lost lots of times lol. I couldnt tell on gameplay b/c i was aon a 40 man server with no weapons restrictions(panzer noob heaven) so i couldnt do much. I think it would be alot of fun on some good servers. its huge!!! lol
