that all looks great. Great sense of architecture and space. You might want to change some of the textures round a bit. i can see the repeating pattern of the stone. You can use the same texture just select a couple of surfaces and press S to get the surface editor up and use the vertical and horizontal move commmands to move some around to give it a more random feel. Having said that maybe it’s the just the screen shots :drink:
Looks good. The wall textures (on that first pic especially) are a bit repetitive, but as blushing_bride said, that’s easy to fix.
I look forward to seeing what’s with that mirrors/beam of light thing. :chef:

ive already raised the village and I’m going to remake the terrain. Just seems like something is very off about the terrain? Perhaps my grids are to large or something… mmh.

I’ve been detoured by other projects which have taken away my interest from red. Currently I’m recreating my campus’ quad for 60% of my grade instead of writing papers on digital art and also a quasi-prince of persia inspired map that is having a few problems just loading! As far as Isle, creating a real playable map will take drastic changes that I’m not sure I have the interest to do… or if the community has that much interest. I am welcome to your oppinions and glad to hear your interest!

Well its apparent from the screenshots that you have been playing the “prince of persia” alot! This map does look cool, especially the inside area’s and if developed well with broken architecture (a good skill to learn) and a lovely theme it would be worth pursuing.
The outside area looks like a few buildings drowning in a quick easygen terrain. Its been done to death at the moment, but a well themed indoor (not too confusing maze) temple would be a nice map. Sort of like the old style RTCW dig/crypt maps.

hah oh no. red is way before i started playing prince of persia. after isle every time a made a brush i thought about the architecture in prince of persia lol. so the next map i release will probably be this one im cooking up, i think it will be lots of fun. but back to red, the inside is pretty simple as you hoped, just not large enough to be a single map yet. so i guess there is always that option of extension. anyways… compiling is depressing. trying to finish these compiles for jailbreak: prinsoners of war at the moment and bla! heh. so much work!
