So basically, the repairable ramps in the game are completely broken, you’ll get stuck on them when they’re stationary, and you’ll get stuck on them twice as bad when they’re on the move.

What I suggest, is making the ramps completely static at all times.
Create a new ramp model, and have it be in upwards position at all times, but have it be locked by a gate, which you can blow/blowtorch/hack (whatever) open, to gain access to the ramp, so the basic function of the ramp won’t change in any way.

The way I understood it, is that anything that moves in Dirty Bomb, is basically fucked, hence the problems with the EVs and the ramps.
This could be a workaround fix to the problem.

I think this is an excellent idea. Some of them you don’t even need the ramp to get to the turret anyway, you can just do a couple of wall jumps to get up it. This may fix that issue as well.

But yea, after this one only EV would be the clunky one anymore and that sounds nice step to right direction.

My merc literally trips and gets stuck on anything. I think every single thing such as railways, grass and glass shatter should have rework so mercs wouldn’t get stuck on it, neither will deployable’s hitscan on it get easily affected which causes annoyance.

I like the current ramps, because you can bypass just about all of them with jumps. Please don’t fix SD D:

SD should rather work with the engine and fix the present stuff instead of making new stuff.
Imo a gate for the ramp for the small space it leads to would be overkill.

@Jostabeere repairing the ramps currently is already very secondary, but when I see a fixed one and try to use it I’d prefer not getting stuck on it, while using it.
Engine tweaking might require way more work in the end.
It would be optimal, of course.

exactly I always trip on the exploded blocker carriage metal pieces on the ground on trainyard^^
