MAP_MAX_LEAFFACES

([MOS]StiloMAN.pl) #1

hi,

Non stop I see errors like “MAP_MAX…” :banghead:

Today I see new:

MAP_MAX_LEAFFACES

In Radiant manual I found:

# leafs is how many leaf nodes are potentially visible.

I don’t know what is LEAFFACE :???:

What I have to do ??

Please tell me anything can helps me :drink:

Sounds like all of your brushes are structural and therefore being factored into the VIS table, which determines what parts of the map can be seen from any given point.

Read this for more info on vis and leafs

well,

I have read this article two times so far and I still can’t understand it.

In my map I converted some brushes (about 50) from structural to detail.
Then I created several ‘common/Hint’ brushes… But I still get this error.

Any ideas ?
Tell me… Must I convert all brushes in my map to detail (without brushes, wchih touch void) ??

:frowning: :disgust:

ps: Happy Birthday SIN

You should convert every brush which doesn’t sepatate areas, or touches the void, to detail.

In fact, they should be as simple as possible, so you could make all of your existing brushes detail and put structural caulk brushes inside your walls/floors/etc. But that’s more complicated.

Common/hint also spilts leaf nodes, as you seam not to understand the relation between detail and structual brush work adding them at this time will give you enen worse problems than you already have. Remove them for the time being.

then do what Irrelevant surgests. This should get you up and running.

huh

I did it, I did

I’m afraid next time I won’t find brushes, wchih I can turn to detail :disgust:

[EDIT] My map is OK of course
