Map loading issues

Greetings,

I have strange problem that occurs when I’m trying to load any map or game mode (quick match stopwatch/objective, competitive and server browser), game goes trough 2 loading screens (map splash screen) and often 5 minute load screen ends up with “press any key to continue” and return to main menu.

This occurs in 3/4 games i try to start.

Another problem i get is after the game (after objective end and after second half of stopwatch), next match countdown finishes and then i get black screen for about 3-5 minutes that ends up with desktop crash (with no crash log) or main menu.

Game itself runs smoothly with config i use from one of the streamers, and i tried to fix this issue with many different configs and “raw” game files.

My PC spec; (LENOVO z510)
Intel Core i5-4200M @2,50GHz
6GB DDR3 RAM
GeForce GT740M (2GB OWN)
1TB disk with 30gb hybrid SSD

Windows 8.1+all drivers up to date

Please clarify: Does the press any key return you to main menu or to the server lobby? If lobby, this is FAD and is working fine. If main menu, definitely a problem.

Through steam try verifying your game cache. If that doesn’t work go for a full reinstall of DB.

Pressing any key returns me to main menu not the server lobby. In fact every time game would normally return to lobby i get booted to menu or to desktop.

I’ve verified the game cache already and it didn’t help but i will reinstall DB next and give my feedback
