Hi,

this already exists:

  • An attacking team will become the defending team if it doesn’t fullfill objectives in a certain amount of time
    (Take a look at “V-2 Factory” by Mean Mr. Mustard)

Extension:
The map could start as Dual Objective.
The team that fullfills the first objective will become the attaking team and vice versa

e.g. mirrored oasis:
two walls / four guns
First team that blows the wall gets the forward spawn and must attack the guns of the other team.
The other wall / guns will be set undamagable.

Only “hook”:
If none of the teams achieve to destroy the wall noone wants to become attacker in the last 5 minutes of the map.

In this case a time extension could be made.
And the time could be re-set to for example 15 minutes.

Sounds good, Would make mapping more fun/easy aswell…

I know this is an example, but if 1 team destroys a wall, and the other wall becomes undamagable, how are they going to get past that wall?

I do like the idea very much that you have to fight for being the attacker, the thing is, it won’t fit in the competition we know now. In a SW-round there’s 2 games, if 1 team gets the wall (sticking with oasis example) both games, then they are the only ones able to set a time.

Hum, that sounds like a good idea for a map like goldrush :>

Both teams must fight for the tank so they can destroy the Bank Doors, the team that takes the tank to the bank courtyard is set was attacker.

But the best would be to put 2 tanks in the map…
One that’s for the Allies, and another for the Axis. But the spawn points would got to change.

  • The initial Allies spawn point stays, Allies autospawn;
  • Axis spawn point at a house near the bridge, Axis autospawn;
  • Tank Depot spawn point belongs to the team how destroys the Bank Doors;
  • Spawn point near the Bank, is for the defending team;
