[MAP] Fueldump Desert Beta 1 Release

Fueldump Desert Beta 1

Fueldump desert is a modification on one of the stock maps ‘Fueldump’. Not only has the snow been changed to sand, sand and more sand but there are also updates on the map. A list of major changes:

  • Changed snow to desert
  • Removed spawnhouse from allied 1st spawn to prevent being blocked
  • New tunnel from allied 1st spawn (overside of the road) to river
  • Allied footbridge replaced for dynatable antenna
  • Axis last base changed exit way
  • Axis last base new tunnel

The map is aimed at larger servers - but it can be used for all sizes

i don’t like the green trees. well, i do, but doesn’t fit on the desert i think.

Very nice … I like it alot, maybe its just that fueldump in summer fashion … dunno.
There are various visual bugs in the map, but I guess you are aware of them.

With doublejump its still possible to get inside the fueldump.

There is a big hole at the exit to that tunnel you added in the center of the mountain on the first stage. Nice looking map.

Double jump servers are lame. You can’t retrofit every map to accommodate what is simply a hack IMHO. To make the walls in Fueldump high enough to prevent double jumps, you would also gibb any axis players jumping over the wall when they hit the ground on the other side.

I didnt test your map with double jump becouse i was testing in etpro but i found some bugs.

In the room you have added in the new tunnel i can jump in the room in the exit and there you can see who is comming by the tunnel.
In the axis Base (fuelDump) the tubes are uncliped in some parts.
If allies contruct the command post before they blow the doors and get access to the base in the middle of map the main spawn point is changed to the command post auto so i think is necessaary only send the spawn point to CP after allies have secure the middle of map spawn. If someone want to spawn in CP they need to choose it by yourself before the auto spawn comes to CP.(just my opinion)
Thats all i have found for now i didnt play the map yet, i have just put it on my server and test it.

I will write back if i found something more.

PS: Greeeaaatt map!!! Loved the new ways in the axis fueldump base!!!

You can walk from the spawn or the other ‘exit’ you see walk to an overview bunker at the place drawn

The hillls texture or at least the cliff faces should be a tad darker, for gameplay as well as aesthetic reasons.
