Map design for Competitve Play

I really enjoy the maps i think they are fun and bring me back to the old ET days.
However, In terms of Competitive matches i cant see people pushing an EV or holding a button down for 5 seconds to use an EMP is going to give us the MLG clutch plays kind of exciting spectator sport i think SD/Nexon is going for.
From what im being told DB is meant to be a competitive game with Casual elements build around it for everyone else.
But as the maps are now I can’t see it being as exciting AS IT COULD BE.
