Everybody keeps telling me that i forget to enter the map coordsmins and maxs, but when i ask them how to do it Nobody seems to know how to do it, can someone plz explain it to me??? :???: :???: :???:
thanks
Map coords
it could be done so:
-
in XY visual, to draw a square that will cover all
the play map; -
with the mouse pointer you move with accuracy to the left top corner, getting note of the coordinates that are signed in the bottom window of gtkradiant (first field): these are the x and y mapcoordsmins
-
to sum “x mapcoordsmins” to the x value that is specified in the second filed in the bottom window
of gtkradiant, respecting the signes -
to subtract:
“y mapcoordmins” - “y value of the second field”
but i’m not very sure of that, sorry for this poor
english

Note the coordinates for top-left (from top view), add 64 to both x and y. Then in a perfect square note the coords for bottom-right, adding 64 again. Take away the comma, and that’s the figures you need to enter.
Just select a brush in the map and hit n
then u ahve to type in the following:
Key=mapcoordsmins
value=represent the top left corner (x y map editor values plus 64).for instance value= -3000 3000
Key=mapcoordsmaxs
value=represent the bottom right corner (x y map editor values plus 64). for instance value= 3000 -3000
