I really like the layout of this map, almost seems that having both bomb sites on the upper area would work better. This map seems to have way less objectives and doesnt seem like it would take 20 mins to complete, this is what i think DB maps should be working towards.
My thoughts exactly, I think that it would encourage more focus on team play and less on running and dying to complete objectives
I completely agree with Valdez and Slag. This would make the game much more exciting and concentrate more on organized offensive pushes with less tank baby sitting type objectives. Nice work Slag! I really hope they look more into this type of game play for competitive maps rather then the long distant marathon style maps currently available.
Simple and affective. Most of all it’s original. Sweet and simple, this is a solid direction for future DB maps.

yes it is essentially a copy of tc_base, can’t find a mini map image but i’ve played it quite a few times (both rtcw and et).
i think this map design was already made in every multiplayer shooter with custom maps^^
mp_base in RTCW, tc_base in ET (the remake).
Either way, a flawed map. Axis usually only ever bothered defending the Radar closest to their spawn, so once Allied had blown the other one it became a boring war of attrition. Spawn - run to Radar - die, rinse and repeat (dozens of times sometimes) until you blow the objective.
To work it would need 2 objectives of exactly equal distance from both defender and attacker spawn. Even then if there was even a minute difference between them (more cover on one than the other or whatever) it’d very quickly become defend one site, let attack have the other.
I’d love to see Village (RTCW) remade in DB. It’d suit the concept (urban map running around passages between buildings) and it’s a brilliant doc-run map because the objective has to be carried almost all the way across the map, and defence can intercept at various points, making it never a sure thing that the game’s won once the attacking team have the objective.
Ice, Village, and Base would all work well in DB. Base may need a slight tweak or 2 for the 1st bunker but their were plenty of strats on defending it initially before giving it up.
