Making the minimap more useful

Some things that would make coordination a lot easier in comp and overall increase the usefulness of the minimap.

  • Teammates have unique colors on the minimap (maybe color could depend on merc, if multiple mercs select different shade of said color
  • Ammo and health pack icons
  • Friendly and Enemy spawn location
  • C4 plant location (attacker side)
  • EV running health and repair status
  • Side objective progress bar (either in the map or positioned above it like the main objectives are)
  • Scale Option
  • Zoom Option (in control options accessible in lobby/not in game. Not useful zoom, goes from too far out to too far in)
  • Transparency Option

Agreed, and let’s also increase the health bar size while we’re at it.

I’d just like the Mini-Map to be larger for my old eyes.

Also the “Zoom in” “Zoom out” sees odd. If you zoom in then zoom out it never goes back to the default mid range view on the mini-map. Just really zoomed in or really zoomed out.

Also it would be great to have ability for customizing UI inside of game(websites allow it so i assume making in-game interface cant be that difficult, mamy MMOs have it too and people love it), I’ve grown so accustomed to radar/map on right bottom side that i just cant see it most of time when its on left side :open_mouth:

I never look at the minimap since we all have x-ray vision. If it’s possible, I may remove it completely.
