Making the game register changed sound output device while game is running

I sometimes run into the issue that I forgot to change my sound output device in Windows before launching the game. When I then notice my mistake (only when I’ve already joined a server, since there’s no music in the menu atm) and change it while tabbed out, the game doesn’t register it. Is there some way to make the game do so? Or could there be a console command added as a feature, in order to achieve that? I tried “toggle music” (or whatever it’s called), which did not help.

Google tells me there is such a UE3 command as SOUND_REBOOT, if this works for the sound engine we’re using I don’t know, worth a shot though.

thanks, i didn’t find that, but seems like the command isn’t supported
