i read in the manual i think that u guys use winzip, well im such a computer like some of you guys are
but, i have no idea how to make pk3 files? can u help me
making pk3 files
k here we go:
u make a .zip file with the name of your map⦠in our example āmp_remagen.zipā.
now u create the folders named maps, scripts, shaders, levelshots,textures.
now, put the .bsp, .prt, .sfr, _tracemap.tga and the folder named with your map,from the etmain/maps folder into your mp_remagen.zip.
then put your custom textures into the zips textures folder. the shaders, scripts and arenas into the zips script folder and your Levelshot into the levelshot folder of your zip.
now u rename it from mp_remagen.zip into mp_remagen.pk3, put it into your etmain folder and bam, pk3 Action :moo:

Ok I made my map ⦠well kinda⦠Now if I want to create a pk3 what do I do.

I go in the BSP menu in RADIANT but whitch one do I choose to compress it.

Iāve tried the (Final) -Bounce 8 one and it created 6 files : .map .bsp .prt .srf .tga .tga
Where are the textures and evrything?
You only include stuff in your pk3 that you made. If you just used the stock textures i.e. the textures that came with et, you donāt need to worry about including them in the pk3 since everybody has them already.
Since u didnt get a correct answer for a pk3 i will give u the run down
make a few new folders in ur main drive folder called
c:/scripts
c:/maps
c:/gfx/limbo
c:/levelshots
c:/textures
c:/sounds
in the scripts folder u put the shader files for ur textures and terrain
in the maps folder u put ur map.bsp, ur map.script for anything u scripted, ur map.objdata file, ur map_tracemap.tga, ur map.arena file and u make a new folder in the maps folder called mymap(this is the name of the map) that contains the lightmap tgaās from ur map(they are called lm_0000.tga and so on)
in the gfx/limbo folder u put the custom piccies for the objectives that show up on the command map(ie the tank) BUT only the ones that u made urself!! (snip from et LDR) Custom Icons
All custom icons are stored in the āgfx/limboā directory and prefixed with ācm_ā.
in the levelshots folder u put the following: map_cc.TGA(this is the command map) and the map.TGA this is the piccie that shows up when u start the map.
in the textures folder u ONLY put the custom textures u are using for ur map
in the sounds folder u ONLY put ur custom sounds u used for the map
After u done this u select allthe folders u made and zip them.
so u get c:/mymap.zip
just rename that to c:/mymap.pk3
then it should work, unless i forgot something 
I must be dump cuz i dont understand : Ok I crated a cubeā¦with soem texturesā¦now I save it and its in .map format⦠I can make it in bspā¦from the menu but after that i get all sort of mfile excluding the _tracemap and some other thing you talked me about :???:
