making melee hitscan and aimed

I noticed that most melee batters just randomly hit around and getting plenty kills.

Why not make melee hitscan and aimed. Meaning if you bat someone on the head its full damage and other areas of body is less. Damage would decrease more and more if you hit hands/feet etc.

This would make melee more enjoyable, skill based, honorable and accepted.

when people start talking “honourable” in a video game, a ROE is usually what they mean
bovine scatology at the least, suck it up buttercup

it usually comes right after being totally owned by weapon X

in over 2 years ingame, I’ve never heard of OP melee

I think it should be the same as knifing some one just with a extended reach. It is a upgrade not a downgrade. And all this talk of being honorable got me thinking they samurai sword.

Why not just meleeing people who’re not focusing on their surroudings?
That’s pretty much Phantom’s play style with the added ability to turn invisible.
