Trying to make a arched ceiling using this http://detoeni.planetwolfenstein.gamespy.com/vault.htm tutorial. but i dont get what he means at step 3. is their anyone who can explain it to me, or knows a easier tutorial with the same end product?

Selecting verticles is done by pressing V, then green dots appear, and you can drag then to different locations, in this tut, like he sais to drag them, get it? ^^

ofc i got that part i mean, i dont know where to drag them to… “In the perspective view, select each of the top vertices in turn and move so that in the yx view it is no longer above the below vertices.” this kinda confuses me…

I think he means, you got verticles, up and down, that you need to ddrag the “up” verticles that they dont meet in a straight line down the “down verticles”…

with vertices on, select your uppers in a side view, then activate x-y window and move just the uppers in x-y.
i think that’s what you’re trying to do?
