Fletcher doesn’t take much skill to play well with him, but a lot of skill to truly master (as with any merc of course). He has access to shotguns and a smg sidearm, plus explosives which can be spammed a bit and you can jump all you want without losing accuracy. Plus, they have high damage.

Now Vassili on the other hand, he’s definitely the hardest merc to play in my opinion. He’s definitely not “easy” as some noobs claim.

dang vasilli is really good if you can aim.
but you still need to go thru the humiliation stage before you git gud.

I think she’s easier to play actually. But that’s really just personal preference. Her speed helps a lot when aggressively sniping. I only like to use her with the Grandeur though. She’s a lot of fun :smiley:

I’d say her and Vassili are on equal grounds though. Just never try to chase her down as a Vassili D:

Vassili is easy, if I can do it then anyone with one eye an a single finger could. The least skill required for any merc is rhino, hes the sit, tank and camp merc and its the easiest thing in the world to follow, proxy being 2nd to that ‘IMO’. Vassili is by no means noob friendly but its along way away from being a skillful class, All you need is a half decent twitch aim (DB is a twitch shooter) and decent tracking and you can go HAM with him, those are 2 skills you need to be half decent with DB anyway so hardly hard to play. However, a well skilled player will be dominant with him, as they would be with any merc. My point being, every merc has a base level of difficulty to use but at the end of the day its the players skill level that is whats measured.

Defenders are SUPPOSED to camp the objective
Attackers are SUPPOSED to defend the planted bomb AKA camp the bomb

Rhino is a slow merc, he is SUPPOSED to camp the objective, just like Aura is supposed to heal and revive and Proxy is supposed to repair the EV.

Every Dirty Bomb player can admit that Vassili was one of their first 3 mercs they bought, there’s no need to limit it, if somebody sucks at sniping they will realize it and change after a few game.
A noob will be useless most of the time, a useless Vassili and a useless Aura that doesn’t revive or heal are both useless, it takes time to get good at the game, no-one is pro in their first game
If you can’t deal with them, go on a min level 10 or 20 server

This gameplay need to be “fast” and not slow. camping means slow.

Min 20 is “alive” only at the evening for me so when I play at noon or morning because school ended I cant find a lot of min 10 servers. Sometimes there will be better low levels in normal servers then in a min 10.

keeping on surviving is another thing…

soo basically youre saying that a whole team camping on 2 aura is bad?
camping is just one of many strategies in a battle, to wait for your enemies to come at you while you have set a trap and crossfire. if im playing defender and things go slow, that is good. its the job of attackers to be smart and agressive.
