I know … developers wanna do better.
Stopwatch + some cybersport. But … its too much.
It dosnt work for most of cummunity. We are not pro.
Stopwatch with heavy weapons its like a luck.
Most players wanna use this … and its not fair if u think about this.

If u wanna know who is better maybe u need 2-3 matches

why i need to play Stopwatch now? it’s not focusing on OBJ.
i only can get more kills … same i can do in games like pubg. + more rewards (cases) :o

battle royale is not in anyway more balanced to something like Stopwatch.

and second, stopwatch is still focusing everyone to do the objective.
you still need to do the objective to win

in PUBG you run for 20 minutes and play for 5 minutes.
imo its not fun AT ALL.
weapons is also random and you could get killed and end the match in like first minute of the game. How is that for balance?

you play 15-30 minutes intensive all gunfight/doing objective with no rest in stopwatch.

like i said earlier, you could stop playing DB and go play fortnite or PUBG.

I love OBJ.
Now. What we gonna do.

RAnked for OBJECTIVE MODE!

No noob surrenders who give up all the time.
U can get highest rank for defend or attack.
After match u will see actual rank for every player.

for example:
attack: gold 3
defend: gold 2

its more better then now even if u wanna play like pro
its real gaming OBJECTIVE score

oh okay i get what youre trying to say.

yes, stopwatch is pretty unbalanced that way, the first attacker gets 15 minutes while the second attacker only gets how many minutes the first attacker finished all the objective.

i think there are many who voiced the same opinion and SD hasnt gives any word on why they are not re-working the stopwatch.

they are focusing on 64bit now
but then as soon as the 64bit stuff i will try to whine at SD to do Stopwatch rework.
so stay tune in the forum for the whine

If you remove server browser/custom search, it prevents players from having a choice of what map, region or server they want to play on. Especially since they plan on letting people rent servers, I highly doubt thats a good idea.

If you want a simple big PLAY button, just play CMM (its also objective which is what you adore)

FYI I bet “nerds” judge you on your ability to write English.

I don’t wanna remove Filter. Its good.
Even wanna dropdown menu with map choice.
Only remove server Window and place big “Play” button instead.

Players have too many options to choose server.
I can click Refresh button all the time and wait 13/14
I can leave any server and join fast another … its not good for game process.
After click Play … players 60+ joining random server 20+lvl.

I need Filter option more then anyone.
I wanna play EU servers bcoz ALL Stopwatch Mode Ranked servers placed in EU and i have ping 50-80
But many russians living too far away from Eu … they need russians servers for good ping.
I have ping 15-20 sometimes on russian servers … i have more chances to kill anyone from Eu more easy.

Developers need to think more about HOW TOXIC stopwatch is. Not positive.
Its only mode for game. Not competition mode.

adding tradable & marketable items could help in player retention ,

i understand it’s free to play game ,

but premium pass (maybe cost around $5 ) could be introduced in game which would unlock tradable & marketable items ,

and at each level up player would get an item in his inventory …

@martha_smith It’s unlikely that would fly with most of us here. We prefer a f2p game to stay f2p in all aspects, and a premium pass to get rid of “junk” cards or even cards we wouldn’t want to use or to trade them? Yeah, that wouldn’t be cool. The advantage of paying players in situations where they enable trading is that they have more to trade and can get the most out of it.

but what about adding tradable and marketable items without introducing any premium pass ,

i mean at each level up player would get an item in inventory which would be tradable and marketable …

this would encourage players to keep playing Dirty Bomb .

and after this dirty bomb will be the first f2p game which will allow steam marketing & trading

@stayfreshshoe is it possible to add this feature in upcoming DB 1.0

Wut ? Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 are not free to play enough for you ?

It already transformed the first one into a huge pile of sh!te, not looking this forward into this. There are way more important topics for proper player retention in this game. People started to massively trade and craft in cs:go, tf2, dota2 because those games are undeniably great at what they’re doing.

DB currently sits in the middle of nothing, with all parties (from casual to proper comp oriented players) having cause for concerns on this game (lack of maps, balance is quite meh and different between public and comp/ranked, overall performance still quite bad). Trading and crafting is definitely a second subject in my view.

In other terms, trade and market won’t bring and retain players on its own. The roots of the game must be good enough to sustain the will of players to dive in into that kind of secondary aspects.

As far as I know, there are more important topics on which SD workforce should work on.

That is a nice idea, though I doubt DB will be the first with steam marketing and trading, I’m thinking of TF2 and a few others off the top of my head. I’m not sure where it is on SD priorities, but it IS a good idea. Getting consistent rewards that you can do more than just use in the game would be nice, probably un-needed, but nice.

Now… will that affect player retention or encourage players to play DB? I really don’t know. I can’t think of anyone who went and played TF2 just to collect cards to trade off… and if we had players like that in DB who knows how good they’d even be.
