Make a compiling Program

(SuperC) #1

I dont know if anybody actually thought about this, but would making a compiling program seperate from radiant make things alot easier? Instead of meesing around with batchfiles, and not having radiant crashing, that would be really nice

Such things exist. search for ā€œ3map frontendā€ or something like that.

there was wolfcompile for rtcw, which worked nicely. i downloaded some ā€œq3map toolzā€ thing, but it’s a steaming pile. every time i double click the shortcut to run it, it attempts to install the wild west mod for rtcw :banghead:

That’s a common issue with some types of installer progs not cleaning up after themselves properly. Check your windows temp directories and delete the WW mod stuff that’s been left there. Then if necessary reinstall q3maptoolz.
