Make 5v5 with FF pub server if ranked is down

While Ranked is down, how about making some of the server in pubs become 5v5 with FF?
i mean a little practice for pubbies to gear them up for ranked wouldnt hurt…

no:

5v5 pub makes no sense without casual MM.

one person leaves and the entire team is screwed playing 4v5.
4v5 is a lot worse than 5v6, which is worse than 6v7 etc.

5v5 makes little sense in the dropin/out nature of the game.

6v6 is a nice compromise,havent been playing anything else since they introduced 12 player servers

they already exist its called PUGs on dbnation servers

Db are apperentaly not planing on making public ff servers. RazielWar… posted that somewhere.

but all the PUGs players would just use these 5vs5 servers also PUGs are for any one who wants to play competitively and just show up on the DBNation discord and maybe look at the rules on the DBnation website.

DBNation also runs amateur pugs for new pug players, just join the discord and join the amateur pug lobby voice channel when an amateur pug gets called for.

Its fairly easy to get into a PUG… you basically go to the discord channel as stated above, then see if there are enough people on to play and someone else usually takes it from there. (by assigning teams, etc)

Just let them know its your first PUG and they should be able to tell you of any rules. (like you can’t use the same merc that someone else on your team is already using)

Sometimes snipers are banned as well, but it depends on the group you play with so just ask.
