*MAJOR* Game not launching

I have given up at this point.

Problem definitely with game executable aka “ShooterGame-Win32-Shipping.exe”. It used to give some error previously on opening (without steam) but now just crashes without any errors or logs.

Other people have reported but the issue has been ignored @Eox and other moderators pls forward to tech team.

My Speks :
Core2Quad @ 2.5Ghz
2 Gb DDR2 RAM
Geforce 210
I know this is pretty low end and old but i have played this game before for like 500 hours on this same rig.

What i tried :

  1. Verify Steam Cache
  2. Uninstall and Re-downloaded Dirty Bomb
  3. Reinstalled DirectX and VC++ Redist packages.
  4. Reinstalled graphics driver.

Finally found out the problem, reinstalled win 7 due to a virus, and got the game to actually go past the easy anti cheat loader.

The SOLUTION :

At some point of playing dirty bomb we might have used this command which you may remembered setting in the CMD. This command lets the game use more than 2 GB of memory.

bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072

Now i found that as soon as i set this option the problem occurs, and the fix is
goto start, run CMD as administrator and type

bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVA

@Eox and oher mods please forward to dev team and pin this solution until the actual update fix comes out.

Try to launch the game as administrator.

Tried that too, didnt work, i think new graphics driver rolled out, let me try installing that.

just checked logs, even that wasnt generating before, idk what i did to fix that,

this must be the problem
EAC is loading the game just fine.
Problem with Steam i think.

EDIT : Tried running steam as admin, now game stopped logging altogether, with same problem of stuck at full loading eac launcher.

Thanks to refeer my thread man, i still have the issue of the anticheat and i send a support ticket to the Easy Anticheat Support but they don’t send me any response… I’m frustrated because i can’t play the game, i lost the last ranked season…

I still cant confirm if this is EAC or my gfx card isnt listed in your ini. Rest steam vapour was fixed.

Fixed that too now still same problem tho, logs changed, these things should be in ini by default but i had to borrow deviceIDs from another unreal engine3 game

no gam(e) isnt a bug it crashed at that point so only till gam is printed on file.

Giving up… bye dirty bomb, if it works next patch, maybe you will get a few players back, otherwise, deal with it. Going back to TF2.

@Eox You can report this issue to the devs faster than me. If you do, it will help me and a lot of other people.

i already submitted a report. 3 other post with the same issue, you still think its my pc ? 3 people posted, think of all those who didnt.

Support is closed on week ends, and you probably aren’t the only player you send reports to them. Just wait for their answers. We’re monday today : the answer should come shortly enough.

If you still got no answer after two weeks, send another ticket.

Well they didn’t XD in my case is the windows i can purchase because… you know 3rd world.
