Maintenance

Just going to put it out there that maintenance should be postponed when several of the biggest streamers on the planet are currently playing, and others were planning to. 31,000 folk just saw the game die live on twitch.

A bit concerned as to why there is maintenance at prime time on a Friday anyway, but you get the point.

Its unscheduled work that needed to be done. They probably did it now because it is the start of a holiday weekend in the US.
Its a long 3 day weekend for most people in the US and they want to get the work done so they can leave and enjoy life.

Player numbers were getting too high, time for maintenance.

lirik, summit1g and giantwaffle were all streaming, not sure who else was.

(shibbyuk) #7

That was a real shame, there were and unprecedented number of players watching it at the time.

(Neo_TA) #9

Sponsored streams, to promote the game, who do say they are sponsored, is a thing.
Sponsored streams, to promote the game, who dont say they are sponsored, is a thing.

Some are transparent about it, others arent.

In general, not calling anyone out.
