M4 OP?

The M4 (or Skyhammers default rifle, I have no clue what it is) seems to be really strong atm, in my opinion.

It has a nice rate of fire, really good accuracy, and really good damage. I get outmatched a lot by mindless spray, and yea it could just be me sucking.

Does anyone else feel like it could use a nerf? I suggest more spread, because it feels like every other gun in this game is accurate, but still has a lot of spread/bloom. I also get killed by it a lot at insane ranges, when I am trying to use the Dreiss, but the M4 out matches me by a mile.

The M4 is a very balanced gun. It doesn’t have the headshot damage of the burst rifles. It doesn’t have the RoF of the SMGs or the damage of Fragger’s LMG or the Blishlok and Dreiss. It just does everything reasonably well. However it only excels if you aim for the head. All as it should.

Nerfing accuracy in this game is the worst possible way to go about it. It’s already very much hurt the Blishlok and the Dreiss and while they are still good we shouldn’t be making guns less reliable since the game already requires consistent aim, that just throws that off. Perhaps your Dreiss feels worse because it was nerfed already. I do not desire other guns to be brought down.

The Dreiss is fine honestly if you learn to aim for the head. 3 headshots kills Fragger…nuf said

It’s definitely a great weapon, I don’t know if it’s OP, but it’s my weapon of choice for sure.
