Lvl up speed?

Correct me if I’m wrong but is it possible that players reach lvl 27 with only 30 hours gameplay in DB because I encounter some players with less then 48hours gameplay and has alredy reach lvl 20 and higher.

First few (7?) levels require less XP than the subsequent ones, but reaching level 20 in only 48 hours sounds rather challenging to me, but not necessarily impossible. Of course this means you would have to know what you are doing - if you are playing a good medic you can easily pile up XP faster than everybody else, but that’s something your usual noob probably doesn’t know yet.

Might be a smurf account.

http://imgur.com/a/v1FfD < 707 average xp/min based on the xp/playtime counter, level 29 in 210 hours. I cant imagine anyone hitting 27 in 30 hours, or even 20 in 48 hours being even slightly legit.

Lets say that between level 10 and 20 you will need 4,000,000XP since a level is about 400,000XP. Then lets say that they play stopwatch only and per game they get an average of 40,000XP. Divide the 40K by 4Million and that is 100 games of stopwatch. I’ll use a 20min average for a stopwatch game length so 100*20=2000minutes, which is 33.33333hours. So either they are hacking or are extremely good.

But either way, level doesn’t really matter past 20.

Disclaimer: I’m not great at math so don’t hate on my estimations :neutral:

Level 1-7 takes quicker though…

That being said, it took me a hundred hours to get to level 10.

1.5x XP in Ranked and/or XP boosting tactics with a friend can get 50-70k xp in 7 minutes or 30-40k without Ranked xp boost

@AlbinMatt My calculation was only between levels 10 to 20, I didn’t count in levels 1-10 anyway.

I’ve come across games in the server browser with 4 - 6 players all XP boosting instead of playing, on more than one occassion.

Some people really care for whatever reason

No, it’s not really possible. They also probably have less than the time played that you mentioned because in-game time is different than Steam time.

Pretty sure if you set yourself to offline in steam it doesn’t register your playtime, even if you’re in game, which is probably what they did.
