They hited League of Legends,Next target will be EA,Google or Facebook.
That will be epic.
Actually they went a step above in terms of high profile attacks. The hacked the CIA website… http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2011-06/16/lulzsec-hits-the-cia

(dazman76) #184

They’re really setting themselves up for a massive spanking  They may have their tracks covered right now, but one slip and they’ll have the FBI and CIA all over them in a flash. Maybe even Team America. It won’t be pretty, when it happens.

(king_troll) #185

lulz is an essex hit squad http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/06/21/alleged_hacker_held/ he`ll be getting 25years if shipped to america

still, might get employed by the MOD like others that have disappeared and hack china

(its al bout security) #186

cant wait till they bag all those fools and put them in prison for a long time.

19 i hope he does spend 25 years in prison. making damage for companies just for lulz is unjust and the bastard should rost for it, i mean he alone probably caused milions of dollors in damage of the past how ever long he has been hacking

(king_troll) #187

briton has a history of big hackers just disappearing along with the court cases

(SockDog) #188

I’ll believe it when I see HMS Lulz in the drydock. Seems Lulzsec have been releasing a lot of information and stirring people up, there is no saying this guy isn’t some wannabe hacker who just set himself up as a target.

I do have to say this whole thing is still absolutely surreal. It’s like these people don’t think they’ll ever get caught.

(king_troll) #189

there is noone else who can make 25years in jail go away but the MOD and minimum wage

(dazman76) #190

This concept keeps surprising me too. I’m sure they have plenty of tricks to make it more difficult, but surely they’re the best qualified to know that it’ll fall apart at some point? Unless they’re completely banzai, they appear to believe they’re well hidden - but doesn’t their own exploits of security holes teach them to be wary of all software flaws? It’s not like they’ve personally written the proxy/hop software they’re using - and all activity on the net generates logs in multiple places. Maybe they assume that being behind bot-nets of multiple client machines provides added protection, since the authorities can’t examine every slave involved. I’m not convinced that theory is 100% water-tight though

(king_troll) #191

it doesnt matter when and if they do get caught, big hacking cases never get to court, you can look back on any since the early 90s, and its the same in most countries, but briton wont try to cover up anything, hacking cases just vanish just a american tv drama stroy

being employed by some shiftty corner of the gov is better then the alternative

take lulzsec to program a decent brink
