Luckiest tradeup?

Okay, I know this won’t seem like much to long time players (lvl 13 noob here) or players who can afford to purchase elite cases, but this just happened to me and it’s one of the luckiest things I’ve had in DB so far.

So, this morning I finally got around to unlocking Fletcher, my 16th merc. I know he’s a strong merc, but I’m terrible with shotguns in every FPS. I’m straight trash with shotties. So, I put off unlocking Fletcher because he only can use 2 shotguns and the Blishlok, which is growing on me but still not my favorite merc. So, after doing my last mission rotations I was able to do one Bronze tradeup for Fletcher. I wanted the BL32, because the Blishlok + Empire9. The augments are great too. I personally think it’s one of his best loadouts.

So, what do I get on my first card for Fletcher? BL32. One tradeup and I’m done. I’m so happy.

But, that’s still a pretty lame story in comparison to your guys’s experiences. So, what is your luckiest trade up situation?

I usually get terrible luck with trade ups. I’ve tried over 25 (I stopped counting at 25) gold trade ups for Proxy trying to get my hands on the KE53 and I have still never got it. I have only had one hochfir loadout out of those 25+ as well. The rest were all shotguns.

My luckiest trade up was Sparks I think. My first ever pop at trading up to gold and I mananged to get the 383 first shot.

Trading up for an S81 cobalt shard Kira… like 2 months before the CW patch when the Stark was literally just a BR-16 with less ammo. I assumed one day they were going to do something to differentiate the Stark a bit more though so I just left it there collecting dust and now it’s IMO her best card

Also getting an M92 cobalt shard Skyhammer in my first tradeup for him.

I’ll tell you my worst experience. Traded up from lead to silver for sawbonez, and for every one I got BL82. So then I traded in silver… And got BL82 again.

Other then that, got a pretty good Stoker I guess.

I’ve been getting a lot of Blish loadouts for him recently, in fact while going from Iron to bronze, I got the same one 3-4 times…3 of them in a row

Now as far as the card is concerned is to not want this card then u will getting it is believe Murphys law comes into play somewhere in getting cards u want

Well, it is maybe questionable if a Bronze-Tradeup should be considered “luckiest”, but glad you done a nice one. Now you can go for Silver, Gold or Cobalt
My personal luckiest Trade-ups were my Crown-gold BL41 Aura, Bamboo-gold S95 Stoker and many “considerably best Silvers” for Nader, Phantom, Bushwhacker, Sawbonez, Fragger, Stoker, Rhino and Fletcher (and all ended up as Trade-up fodder, some of them were a regret though). The other two cards were Trade-Ins. Crown-gold R93 Rhino and Swiss-gold C94 Phantom. Currently working on, preferably Crown/Bamboo versions of Bushwhacker and Sawbonez, since I’m not a fan of CObalts and don’t feel I need them for the sake of having them like many people do.

I said my personal luckiest. I also realize that I have less than 200 hours in DB and I can’t afford to purchase cases, but I figured if I was going to post a question to the forum I might as well answer myself : P

I know. It’s cool you got one, and it has personal value. I’m not a fan of Bronze personally.

Seems like we share that same kind of lovely luck. That was my first cobalt tradeup.

And another lucky case was for me was my first and only gold tradeup I needed for Fletcher, BL33 in crown gold. Thought that was the most suited skin for him in my personal preference until I got the Xmas skin with the exact same loadout.

I’ve actually been more lucky with the event case drops than tradeups so far, considering the BL33 in Xmas skin and C94 in CW skin for You-Know-Who… >:)

I got 383 Gold Sparks from regular case, meanwhile every tradeup has been a nightmare XD

Yeah, that was my first Cobalt trade-up too.

Now my second one was also quite impressive…

Normally I play with a config, but I set the Stoker screenshot on High just so I could admire the Fragment Timik.

My favorite loadout for Proxy is the KE53.

Not long ago, I decided to trade up my first gold ever. Naturally I wanted a crown gold KE53.

This happened.

RNGesus had blessed me for this time, though now I’m preparing for a long period of extreme bad luck.

Not really shure if this counts but hey.
Well back when stoker was released in open Beta I was eagerly waiting for him to be launched since he’s just amazeballs , long story short the second the game was online again I made a tradeup for him (Gold) and I was praying for the T52 and actually got it . But here comes the crazy party instantly after that I opened 12 normal cases I had saved up and I fucking got a cobalt T52 (Shard camo) for him… I actually freaked out so hard that my neighbors heared it and asked what happened later

omg gg. But that’s kind of sad because you wasted silvers to get a Gold card in what you would later get in Cobalt ;-;
