Low framerate with ET on a relatively high-end system...

Great…so you’re saying that the only slot available in my pc for a gfx card only gives crappy performance??
I find it hard to believe that that is why Im getting 10 and 20 fps. TEN and TWENTY that says. Ill check some of those games…

Need For Speed FLIES with this “complete crap”
Flight Simulator 2004 perfectly smooth with settings HIGH

shouldn’t I HAVE an AGP port? I have an AGP card actually, but no slot for it as far as I can tell…
This was not a cheap PC

OK guys…Thank you for your patience with me, and for stickin with me:

Maybe I can remnedy this now. I just looked in my PC (again) with the new PCI/AGP/PCI-E knowledge you have bestowed upon me.
I was right…No AGP slot

BUT

I DO have a PCI-E slot!

Is everybody in concurrence that getting a PCI-E card will relieve me of my woes?

I cant believe in all this time, no one has mentioned this PCI thing before
Thanks again guys

I was able to get 23-25 fps on a dell 700mhz with a 64mb Nvidia geforce400mx/PCI(non-express).
Then I laughed at it and sold it 1 month after I was given it.

PCI-E is the way yes, buy no less than gf6600gt, just my opinion
