Low framerate on sp_delivery2

Could someone please tell me why sp_delivery2 is so framerate-hungry?

It doesn’t look too heavy to me, but there is no map I get worse FPS on, amongst the “competitive” maps in Europe.

Even if true, that has nothing to do with why it gets bad FPS. In fact, you would expect stripped down maps to get good FPS.

I’m pretty sure D3C0Y was suggesting it was poor techinical construction. I agree, although without the source map it’s a bit hard to say what the exact problem is.

yes I was suggesting poor technical construction, but my opinion doesn’t really count because I haven’t played this map :stuck_out_tongue:

There is very little structural vis blocking, combined with a large number of curves (train wheels, railings, etc), and the long straight tunnel means that most of the map is being drawn, all of the time.

yes i’m sorry. i’m just confused/pissed as why have clanbase picked this map (or adlernest or sd2 and so on) for their leagues instead of warbell or other great maps out there. sorry for the random rant.
