I just got onto Windows 10 and now I have inconsistent framerates that are WAY below 60 FPS, like in the 30-40 range with dips into the 20s. The UI is also extremely laggy. The game is basically unplayable right now so if anyone could offer some advice on how I could fix this issue that would be appreciated. I’m running Windows 10 Pro on a G3258 with a 750ti and 8 gigs of ram.
Low FPS and Laggy Interface on Windows 10
Hi, every body are going to ask you this:
Did you upgraded via microsoft update or did you do a clean install (reformating)?
If not, it’s maybe due to this. You may have drivers issue (automatic w10 one?) or you are using an old driver which is killing your performance due to the lack of compatibility.
Some one pointed out this in the forum:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/windows-10-how-fix-system-ntoskrnl-exe-memory-leak-high-cpu-usage-1514316 Give it a look too.
I also suggest you to clean up your config folder Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config
Some people had issue with their tweaked .ini after upgrading. It wiped their tweaks
Try to find you way with what i said.
