Looking for: texture changer

Hi guys, I’m working on a mod called Zombie Mod. Thanks to some help from various people (Hi Slut and Indloon), I’ve continued to work on this for nearly a week now. I’ve spent so many hours on the code, tweaking physics, graphics, engine cvars, new KUDOS system, different class play, weapon modifications, fixed most known bugs, remove some other useless code. Nearly completed the leaning & shooting system. My aim was to bring a Q3 feel game into a fast paced zombie game mod. I have reworked all of the physics and now it feels like it ;).

I am now in desperate need for people who can help me with mapping. If you can change textures on maps, change skyboxes and add rain to maps (or any 1 of the requirements) please message me.

All work will be credited.

If you have a map in which you would like to be in the main map cycle for this mod, please message me with it’s details.

This mod will be completed, I have a friend of mine working on the zombie models and skins. This will include new weapons also, it will look nice when done.

Take Gtk Radiant, 1.4 or 1.5 as you like, and grab the ET Maps Sources. In editor, it’s CTRL + SHIFT + Left Click to select a surface and select a texture in the Texture window (Just browse the Textures menu to add textures folders).

You don’t have to touch the map source files to add rain/snow effects.

Just go to cg_atmospheric.c,see the example of CG_AtmosphericKludge().

Nice thought, thanks for the tip. I am however still looking for edited maps (need larger maps as game is quite fast).

Hmm what a bout a hill where zombies spawn and at the bottom the human defences? Look at the map Stonehenge, I think it “fits” the idea I have in mind :slight_smile: But higher hills and larger middle, and organised defenses.
