Looking for inspiration

Can you guys think of any games with

Parkour
Cloak
Holograms/Decoys
In game wall hacks
Sentries
Rocket Launchers used as an ability, not a weapon.

Trying to get some inspiration here, so far, I have on my mind a game with Titanfall’s parkour, Dirty Bomb ttk and weapon handling, spawn waves, cooldowns for abilities, and 4 classes you can make up to 3 loadouts for each. The classes are Tank, Medic, Objective Specialist, and Assassin.

I don’t know of any actual games that meet all of those requirements (seems like none of us do), but feel free to keep dreaming.

Overwatch is coming. It has Parkour, In game wallhacks, Sentries, Rockets as an ability, and looks like it will have a TTK close to DB’s.

Quite a utopian game you have imagined.

Mirror’s Edge has Parkour.

That is the only thing it qualifies with.

I think Wolfenstein ET’s Rocket Launchers had a sort of energy bar cool down thing like a lot of things in the game, you could count that as an ability if I were desperate (I am). And it had trick jumps, which you could count as parkour if I were desperate (still am). Lag for decoys/holograms?

It doesn’t have to meet all the requirements, just looking for ideas, see what works and what doesn’t and why.

Parkour- Brink
Cloak- Too many games to name. If you want balanced one, then TF2 is pretty close’
Decoys- Can’t think of a game that has a decent mechanic for that.
Ingame Wallhack- Blacklight Retribution
Sentries- A lot of games.
Rocket Launcher Ability- I hate to say this, but the only game is Overwatch.

But like @gg2ez said, Overwatch fits all of those requirements…huh.

Played Overwatch at blizzcon last year and unless no one picked the dude/chick the couple times i played the only thing I didn’t see was cloaking. Going again in November tho so we’ll see.

Blacklight has ingame wallhacks
TF2 has cloaks and sentries
CSGO has decoys
Overwatch has a Rocket launcher ability
Brink has parkour

I can recommend 3 games: Blacklight: Retribution (BLR), Ghost Recon: Phantoms and Ghost in the Shell: First Assault.

My favorite is BLR which has the fastest and better movement mechanics, but no options to jump on or off of things besides the basic jump. What makes BLR unique is the ingame wallhack and the endless weapon costumization.

Next is GR: Phantoms which has some elements of parkour in the form of groundsliding and jumping over objects. There are three classes you can choose from with each there own abilities. Each of them require a very different playstyle and some are really nice if you use them on the right time.

Last but not least is GitS: First Assault. Based on the Ghost in the Shell franchise. It is currently still in development with so far one closed beta weekend which was beginning of this month. In this game you can play the characters from the anime with each their own ability. The ability-teamsync, which allows you to borrow your teammates ability, makes it a very tactical game. Release in 2016.

Now I know why you’re such a lax dude. You’re from CoD. It all makes sense now.
