Looking for Goldendunk_a2 Creator.

Hi all… been lurking around here for a while…

I’m working on a couple of things ATM, one of which is re-creating goldendunk_a2. I have some additions/changes I’d like to make. I’ve started off by mimicing some of the brushwork, but I would really like to get in touch of the original creator. Partly because I’d like to use some of the models like the Numeric score counters, etc… Then there is the scripting involved… And also I wouldn’t mind having permission to edit/complete/re-work this map, with access to the original .map file and permission to use scripts etc…

I’ve searched the net and this forum with no good leads to who created this map and how to get in contact with them. There is no readme included within the PK3. I’ve also looked high and low for a “final” version of this map… and a2 is the only version I’ve ever found.

If anyone knows who created this map and how to get in touch with them, I’d really appreciate the info…

Otherwise if I end up re-making it from scratch, would it be ok for me to “borrow” some models and script stuff? I would of course give credit to “the original mapper of goldendunk_a2” in the readme.txt. Or would doing that be frowned upon?

Thankx for any help/info

thank you for the info… now that u mention it I think I remeber seeing Joker54 in the levelshot or sumthing…

I looked at his homepage and followed a link to a forum. I posted on that forum with the help of a language translator. I only hope that Joker54 will see it there and contact me.

If not I suppose that I could make my own models, I think I read here somewhere a method of using radiant to create the brushwork, and then converting that into md3 somehow (I’d have to look in my bookmarks). The script on the other hand, was quite complex, I just glanced at it, and whew… much more than I had expected for a seemingly simple map :D.

Anyway thankx for the help.

PS- anyone who speaks japaneese (spellcheck*) and would like to help me out… hint, hint :stuck_out_tongue:
