Looking for clan - PC

(SKS) #1

I have a group of friends that were supposed to get this game that wanted to team up with me. It looks like they might not be getting Brink… who knows. I’m looking for a team with more dedication than what they are willing to put in. Basically I just want to play a lot.

I have been playing FPS games since qwtf, and I have about 13 years worth of experience in competition. If you count the Atari 2600 then I have about 30 years of video gaming experience. Yes I am old enough to drink beer, no I will not buy you any. At least not over the internet. I have played qwtf, qwmtf, cs, q3f, cod, wolf:et, css, etqw, tf2, and now I’m playing Brink. I have led teams, run leagues, etc… I’ve used several names, but SKS is the main one that I have used. Also ESSKAYESS is another one that many people might be familiar with. I started using that so people wouldn’t think I got my name from the gun, but that didn’t really work.

I am available to scrim/practice sunday - thursday. I work until 7 PM EST, so I can play 7:30-whenever on weekdays. I can play all day Sunday. Friday is the only day I can’t play at all. Saturdays I can usually play through most of the day, but I have to go out at night. If competitions end up being Friday/saturday then I can work things around, so I can be there. Yes I know the IRC, and ventrillo/teamspeak/whatever you use for voice chat friendly.

([TAW.net] RiEvEr) #6

TAW.net has a large North American membership and already has around a dozen Brink players with more applying and being interviewed daily.

We’re a 1300 member multi-gaming organisation and very friendly with a ‘family’ atmosphere on TS3.

We play together a minimum of twice a week (officially) but there are always people in our TS3 playing games together. We know about families and work, so nobody is expected to drop everything just because there’s a game on.

Once the membership is settled in for this new game we’ll organise internal teams and battle eachother over a campaign, then reshuffle to keep it fair - nobody likes to lose all the time chuckles

Please check out our website at http://taw.net/ and see what you think.
