So far I’ve mostly been playing against bots and it hasn’t been very good for learning what to do on the maps. I mean obviously if there’s an escort going on or if everyone is clustered up at a defend point with turrets set up it’s not hard to guess you’re safe helping out with that. I know there’s more to it than that though, but I’m not sure what. I try following other players to learn tactics but I’m not sure they know much more than I do. When I’m playing against other players there’s even less freedom to try to figure these things out… and nobody seems to be talking much (I know there’s an issue with team voice chat being off by default or something though.)
I was hoping to get some community advice with some tips on the maps, like places to hold or places to push. Or even “If you see a guy doing this don’t follow him” or “If someone is doing that then you definitely want to go help.” I see random advice like that scattered in the threads, but it’s always related to something else like how to make use of a certain type of weapon. So please add anything you got that would help a noob like me (or other types of noobs too I guess.)
