Looking for Advice on Best Movement Strategies in Brink & Dirty Bomb

Hey everyone,

I’ve recently been diving back into Brink and Dirty Bomb , and I’m really trying to refine my movement skills to improve my overall gameplay. Both games have a strong emphasis on fast, fluid movement, and I know that mastering parkour and momentum-based mechanics can make a huge difference in matches.

I was hoping to get some insights from more experienced players on the best ways to optimize movement in both games. A few specific questions I have:

  1. Brink’s S.M.A.R.T System – I know that the system is supposed to automate some of the parkour moves, but is there a way to manually control or chain certain actions for greater efficiency? Are there any tricks that seasoned players use to gain an edge in movement-heavy engagements?
  2. Dirty Bomb’s Mobility Meta – I’ve noticed that some mercs feel way more agile than others. Are there specific movement techniques (like strafe-jumping, wall-jumping combos, or slide mechanics) that work particularly well for dodging enemy fire and repositioning quickly?
  3. General Tips for Movement-Based Playstyles – Whether it’s map knowledge, using obstacles for cover, or chaining movement abilities effectively, what are some of the most important movement habits that differentiate good players from great ones?

Any advice, videos, or resources would be hugely appreciated. Looking forward to learning from the community!

Thanks in advance!
