Looking for a Mini-Mod

I’m looking for a way to nerf the Medic class slightly. I’m looking for :

  • They start at 100 health, not 123. Thus max health should be 140 like the other classes.
  • Regeneration per second is 1 not 3
  • They can only have 30/60 in terms of maximum ammo clips.

The only reason for this is to limit their Rambo abilities. I don’t care for people’s opinions on the issue, I just care for this mini-mod.

Can anyone work on this or has working on it?

This is an issue we are implementing in our mod, maybe not as extreme, but the medic will be issued with a less powerful rifle based weapon…more on this soon.

I’ve been doing something similiar. Medic regeneration is handled in g_active.c, in a function called ClientTimerActions. Look for the line:

ent->health += 3;

and modify it. There’s also another line that increases the health by only 2 if its above a certain level, you might want to alter that too.[/quote]
