LOL mods abuse power

so twice a forum mod has closed my topcs sure one was naming and shameing fair enough but the second was nothing of the sort it only had a link that lead to my youtube channel where i make videos nothing else such an asbuse of power how sad really

This might not be the best way to address it, perhaps speaking to the mods in a one off conversation would be ideal - along with reading through the forums rules first to ensure you are on the same page with them.

But, yeah - it is up to their discretion to close a thread as they see fit :slight_smile:

no he was not doing his job as my post had nothing wrong with it :slight_smile: this i am asking how i can report him for the abuse of his power just because you don’t like something does not mean you can just stop it.

It’s not a good idea to make threads like these, no matter how unjust a mod might seem.
I got permabanned on two accounts on world of warcraft forums, for telling it how it is, and for disagreeing with a janitor.

im not looking for attention i dont care i just wanted to show how easy it is for hackers to get away with their crap and i guess the mods on here dont want people to see how broken the game is due to the 4K loss of players there was nothing wrong with my second post thus they are in the wrong and i shall be reporting it GOOD DAY!

This forum has a private message system, and if you feel a moderator acted too hastily, you can always request a discussion of the incident. I’ve had the pleasure of discussing several times I’ve needed to step in, with forumers and each time we’ve had an amicable discussion and it’s been nice to get to know these people. In general. most people aren’t out to break the rules, they simply don’t understand the fine print of how they are applied.

Now what you can’t do…
Angry messages toward moderators, or attacks are considered harassment. Creating topics about moderator action is not allowed, and this is pretty common on most forums. Attacking a moderator is definitely not encouraged behavior. Nexon’s always had a dim view of derogatory posts aimed at a moderator who was simply doing their job. In fact, I’ve seen people permabanned for a single incident. It simply is not acceptable.

I’ll be issuing an infraction for this topic, and I truly hope in the future you will use a bit more discretion when posting.

Please, folks, take this to heart. None of the mods are here to power-trip. We care about the game, and the community, and want this to be a positive place where we can interact on a social level, as well as impact the game itself in a good way.

Just to add a note: I’ve been able to speak with the OP and he was quite reasonable. Like a lot of us, he was just frustrated with the hackers. To his credit, he was quite understanding and we finished on a positive note.
