well this sucks, havent played in a few months… come back and the master server is gone???
take it, this is Activisions way of killing this game… since i cant seem to find a word on their site regarding maintenance or, he77 anything as to why the Master server is down…
activision has once again, reminded me why i will never buy one of their games… (not that it matters, with all the COD fangirls) $$$$$

any way to play on unranked using direct connect by console command[w/o altering binaries/resources/presets]?
cuz until someone[Activision?]deploy patches allowing standalone MP, auth server shutdown can cause class-act lawsuit.
or something worser.
imagine that - giant asteroid hit Activision office and all staff lucky enough to be outside this time be raped by flying sharks with froggin lasers in spacesuits.

So, I’m SO addicted to this game and it’s 11:01 pm PST in L.A., Ca. Everytime I TRY TO Log in to the ET Quake servers I get a message Login Error then RESET Password, and they want my code key again.
I’m quite frustrated, as I just installed this a few weeks ago and I’m already a STAFF SERGEANT.
Can anyone explain to me, is this GAME GONE or what?

I’d love to know if I need 12 step program or if I can play my favorite online game ever again.
WTF Is up with Activision anyways? THey charge me $50 for this game at BEST BUY and you can’t even log in.
ANyone have any answers? I’d love to hear it. Been trying to log in now for 6 hours with no luck.

why not create ANOTHER online services with hosts-file/dns hijack on client-side ? 
with login, stats and etc.
but primarily with server-browser backend )
