Localization: German - Feedback Thread / Spelling Reports

Not translated: “Common” – GER: “Häufig / Alltäglich”

Meaning: “Doppelte Zeit” - Does not make sense in my opinion, cause there is no “double time” in this buff.

Suggestion: 1) “Schnelles Nachladen” - 2) “Fliegendes Nachladen” 3) “Fliegender Wechsel”

Meaning: “Gesundheit aufgefüllt” - Would change it, because its not very accurate.

Suggestion: 1) “Heilung vergeben” 2) “Team geheilt”

]

Meaning: “Zum Selbstmord” - Translated: " To suicide"

Suggestion: 1) “Selbstmord”

To be continued…

Meaning: “Hebe an” = Bad translation => Is used in cases like “to lift up a carpet.”

Suggestion: 1) “Wiederbeleben” 2) “Aufhelfen” 3) “Helfe auf” 4) “Helfen”

Thanks for the feedback k0k0nat,

We’re looking to get a better way to report translation errors online shortly…but in the meantime, please feel free to continue adding to this.

Spelling in last line, (missing letter) it has to be:

" JedeS Squad besteht aus drei Mercs und deren Ausrüstung"

(k0k0nat) #5

Grammar in first line, it has to be:

“Gebe einen Namen für DEIN Squad ein.”

In Waterloo, the first objective has two different names:

 1. “Eindämmungsmauer” which is a pretty weird translation ( Appears when Defending the wall and planting C4 on it"

 2. “Mauer” which is the better and usual translation

Edit: I would prefer the term “CDA-Mauer” as it is in context of this game.

Another bad translation, out of context.
“Stellung beziehen” is used in debates, not for using the MG.

Suggestions:

 1. “MG benutzen” 2) “Einsteigen” 3) “EV Besetzen”

London Bridge:

In the loading screen, the text says “… das EV” (neutral)

In-Game it is “den EV” (masculine)

When the defending team brings back the objective during the last stage, the text says something like

" WIR haben das Dokument zurückgebracht " - Which is supposed to be the text when in the defending team, but it is also shown when playing as attackers.

General feedback ( that does not fit into the Google Doc ):

There are some really complicated and uncommon words like “EXTRAKTIONS-LÜFTERSTEUERUNG” which sound very funny in german.
Its a contrast to casual language like “Muni auffüllen” or “Muni Station” or the taunts in general.

Not sure if this is desired, but it has a funny taste
Its nothing bad, but will definitely make people grin :stuck_out_tongue:

Because its not in the GDOC Sheet:

There is a missing spacing in “Ready up” ( German Local.)
