Lobster grenade launcher AWESOME!

OMG the lobster is so cool! unlike the AGL (the big automatic grenade launcher), it knocks people back. Its so hilarious! I use that and carb 9. knock back---->shoot, or just keep knocking them back. People must get so irritated when i do that. I even changed to clown face paint to piss them off more. ROFL :penguin:
I recommend people try using it a lot. its my new favorite weapon. (must be soldier to use because of limited ammo.) :stroggtapir::rolleyes::stroggtapir:

Yeah, i played around with it when I was getting 20fps per map.

One knockdown via lobster + molotov = kill
Its also nice starting out with SMG, switching to lobster as a finish but this only works at midrange.

I’ve been using the Lobster a lot tonight, donking a guy on the head from 50 yards to knock him down is so hilarious. Especially when the explosion then knocks his buddies down as well. It’s actually pretty useful in 8v8 if you’re rolling with a good team as they can completely mop up everybody you’re knocking down.

Its not a bad idea to pick up Lobster and SMG as the assault rifles are fairly useless and run out of ammo anyway. Ive used the Lobster and Kross pretty nice combo, though I cant defeat Carb-9 with the Kross but whatever.

Haha yeah. I forget the fact that it’s even good for kills. I’m 20 now. not trying to earn a lot of exp so right now I’m just enjoying pissing people off with it.

Do you go for direct hits? Quite a few time when i have used the lobster at close range the grenade has hit my enemy, knocked him down and then bounced back and killed me. Pretty frustrating.

underslung + ar finish is pretty massacrape for ppl complaining about ARs. Otherwise I </3 ARs.

I like using it as a heavy engineer. Since I’m usually a bit behind my team I can bounce nades into whatever room they are assaulting then pull my machine-gun when Enemies cross my line of sight.

to avoid getting hit with your own lobster, do it from mid range. If your super close then you might as well melee, then shoot em with the lobster, then swap to an smg, and finish him off. He’ll be like, " WTH just happened!?"

I used Lobster/Carb when I first started playing, and then I discovered Gerund w/underslung/Carb, which gave me range in addition to power.

Although I’ve only really used it for one game, the Lobster seems to let you melee very quickly while holding it (more than 50% faster, imo).

amen, would be better if exploded on direct hit with player or less bounce velocity on direct hit with player imo
