Lobby misunderstanding?

I’ve read some of the posts by you guys (devs) and watched Richard Ham’s interview on Machinima and I think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding.

The way I see it, there are 2 kinds: in-game lobbies and party lobbies. The first type is what is currently in-game in the form of warm-up. The second is different, and is when you create a party with your friends before you even choose what game-mode you want to play. This second kind of lobby is what I believe people are asking for, and not the first.

You can’t really expect people to find a public game and then invite everyone they want to play with. It’s not reliable. People want to form these parties before joining any kind of server.

Agree, i also like the ‘private warm up option’ But people want to jump in to a game with ease, party system is the best way to-do so.

The kind of lobby we console players have in Halo/CoD/GoW is what should be made a xbox live standard imo. The matchmaking from a party is why these games do so well, the ease in which friends can party up and find games online.
