while i can understand that it is an important feature for console users, since they have trouble finding human filled servers i still can’t understand why there are more and more pc user who cry for a lobby.
it’s not hard to find a full server in the pc version, neither is finding a game with 10/16 or whatever to make sure everyone of your friends can join without waiting (in case it is a secret: it is possible to join another server while waiting for an autoconnect to a server your buddys play on. crazy, right?). once everyone joined, it’s only a matter of time to get all friends into one team, espacially if you are only 2 or 3 people.
when did lobbies become so important to pc players? i am used to join a server with my friends and play on different sides if we have to, has been that way for ages, basically every online shooter i played used this system (except l4d and mw2) and it did never seem to be a problem, at least i never heard someone ask for a lobby system in q/cs/bf.
so my question is: why? what am i missing here?
BTW I would be okay if they just make a better server browser. but lobbies are nice too. when the game is fixed we are 5 ppl playing brink and than a lobbie makes it a lot easier to get matched on the same side on a full server
