I would prefer if we could disable the merc skins on loadouts. What I mean is I would like to use a bronze loadout but use the default colors for the merc. If this was possible I’d like the game a lot more – I think the mercs’ default colors are a lot more fitting and pleasing to look at and I would prefer not to have forest camo/etc on some mercs.

Absolutely 100% agree. would me make playing with bad gold skins aswell. And I could see a force default skin (only visual not augments) option be useful in a tounrament setting.

It’s the beta fighter card. It has a cool red gun skin but a dumb forest camo that’s really unappealing to me.
Some people might like it but I’d prefer to use vasili’s default colors. The same goes for proxy cards, her default colors are way cooler than most of the camos.

That is odd. It should look red/white if it’s Beta Tester. Like this:
On the topic though, it would be a fairly neat addition, being able to choose the default colours. Some Gold and Cobalt skins are - on the right mercs - eyejarring in some cases : <

either my card is fucked or my graphics settings are too low to show the red/white, but that’s not what’s important. I still prefer the default vasili colors a lot.

This is a good idea and i support it, one of the Bigger things this game needs is true Customization. Not just custom pre-set loadouts that you get by chance. Taking a CoD Customization turn is something i would like to see. I’ve always found an insane amount of fun in customizing my Characters appearance in games, and i would enjoy seeing it in this game. The same goes for CoD’s ‘Loadout Customization’, Like you could keep the case system we currently have but have it so it’s certain items to customize what you bring into battle. This may be an unpopular opinion, i’ve been told that before (Because people don’t want to bring CoD into the mix) but I know im not the only one who would enjoy this implemented into Dirty Bomb.
