Loadout for skyhammer, or buy arty?

Both are for the same purpose in battle, send fire support to deny area, and resupply teammates with ammo.

With arty the artillery is much faster compared to skyhammer, and silent, but it has single location instead of a full line.

And their weaponry is different, arty’s default weapon is a semiautomatic rifle with decent damage, which really gives me prefference over skyhammer.

But skyhammer has also weapons that still deal high damage, for example his default weapons.

Im also thinking to get another different loadout for my phantom, but, thats probably for another day.

I basically like the “keep enemies suppresed” guy, so i see both characters useful, but with differences, and i dont know which i should pick up. Faster fire support, or quick damage aganist the enemy?

Arty for Area denial.

Skyhammer for blowing the shit out of a nest or an EV

Arty’s weapons are very fun. The Dreiss AR puts out good damage and the burst rifles can deal quick headshots to stop most mercs dead on. Plus, Arty’s artillery has shorter cooldowns that skyhammer’s airstrike, so you can easily take out the EV every 30 seconds to a minute. Plus, Arty has the best voice lines.
“I kill you old school!”

With Skyhammer, his artillery grenade is really just a sidegrade. With Arty, his artillery designator is his main weapon.

The thing about Arty’s artillery designator is that it has pretty much infinite range, and you can call it off of the map’s geometry, enabling you to strike behind enemy lines.

Totally different characters, but Arty is a mainstay on my merc loadout for every map except underground.

If you’re gonna buy Arty, make sure you like burst rifles.
