Loadout card lock function?

(MrOldstone) #1

Greetings DB Forum!

I have now been playing Dirty Bomb for roughly 200 hours and I keeps buggering me that every time i go and trade up my cards with the auto-fill in feature I find myself deeply worried that it might auto-full my preferred cards instead of the cards I don’t care about.

I had an idea to prevent this constant worry when using the auto-fill in feature.
Add a lock system to the cards that you don’t want to be used for crafting. so you could lock your favorite cards so they would be protected from auto-fill in.

I would personally (as i’m sure other would too) see this as a great quality-of-life improvement.
(Weren’t able to find anyone else posting this on the forums so decided to post it myself. Sorry if you already have been asked this)

A happy, but concerned gamer

It would be great. In addition to this, they could make it that if you have only one card favourited for a merc, when you select that merc for your squad, it will automatically use that loadout. If you have more than one favourited, only the favourited ones will show up when selecting the merc.

I can both agree with you about having a favorite card for each merc due to long loading times of the cards when in lobby, and therefore i would speed up the process but then again i don’t think the DB team be interested in encouraging people only to play with a single card per merc.

(I have realized that this proberly shouldn’t be labeled as a ‘question’ but rather a discussion. If any sort of mod can change that it would be appreciated  )

Somebody asked this from SD in Monday’s stream I think it was Shoe who said that they would like to make it happen (which alone means bugger all but there you go).

pls make it possible to lock

Why don’t you just fill the slots yourself?

When I get home from work I’ll show you a photo of multiple pages with lists of Bronzes/Silvers/Golds that I can safely trade up. Only way to avoid accidentally loosing a card. It’s tedious as fuck and very error prone. Trade Up UI doesn’t help - you need to squint to read loadout name, then hover over a card to make sure it’s the right skin variant.
