Little Pub Action, Euro Lag and Bad Collision and Register Lag
Spooky, can you lower your sense, and capture video with as much frames per second as possible??

low sens with good quality 60fps video will seal the deal, i am sure.
Yeah I can. I didnt think I was dropping frames because that is what I saw in game. But I can beef up my recording. I didnt even have SLI on so I will pop that on and boost the record quality. I am also hoping for a full server. During my recorded the server wasnt full all the time. Make another underwhelming game video haha!

Don’t see much lag there. What I get on a consistent basis is 10 times worse, so it is there. Just not for you.

Sounds like the same old stuff due to prediction - lpbs warping around for hpbs & lpbs dying early to hpbs.

Update… Get this:

So in my Video I was at 90 FOV and mouse 2 Sens. I did have a little sporadic aim and I was anticipating a little to much as the players model wasnt moving as far as I thought it would based on the speed of the game.

Note: I played ET and RTCW at 90 FOV… COD I dont think you could change and all BF games at 70…

So…

I tried 70 FOV and lowered my sense to 1.5… The Insta kills jumped and so did my K/D however it didnt really feel like I was aiming… Just sort of setting my mouse on an area… In BF with 70 FOV and the same sens you felt like you had more control however people died 300 times faster…

With the 70 FOV and low sens the only times I ran into trouble was the close fights or people going through me… Arty was also a little harder to use as I had to really crank down on my mouse to control recoil.

I was in USA West and turned my SLI on so the game felt smoother however with the low sens I was spot aiming and slow…

Basically all this blabbing is confirming what people are saying about my aim and over correcting do to my faster mouse sens. But I was over correcting for specific reason weather it be some type of model animation lag or something I was still doing it.

No doubt it will help with your tracking and aim.

edit: oh and be sure to post your scores :)
Humate posted this in another thread and I cant imagine using 1 sens to pop those bubbles vs a 2 sens…

I dont know just feels odd right now…

lol 70 fov…omg

in rtcw or et was this a cheat…hehe

400dpi should be enough for those bubbles.

Years have probably also affected things to an undetermined degree, but if it helps, in ET I was using a Razer Boomslang with 1800dpi, 125Hz polling rate, off a 120fov and 4 Sens. I think i’m just about getting back to a decent setting here with a 110 FOV, 0.8 Sens, and a Corsair M65 @ 8200dpi and 1,000Hz polling rate.

The difference between 0.8 and 1 doesn’t sound much, but it’s already had a massive effect in the 24 hours i’ve been testing.

As for the best method of setting up aim, I highly recommend
http://www.teammuppet.eu/home/index.php?/topic/6058-aiming-by-raziel/ which gives an overview, but the full download at http://www.crossfire.nu/tutorials/125/aiming-by-raziel has all the video bits and explanations

It sounds huge to me, I never understood games where sensitivity is an integer, it just never gives enough control to get it feeling good.

I should record more because within the two sessions I’ve played on the new patch I’ve had some pretty hilarious hit reg.

I was lying there waiting for you to bait them, so I could use martydom :frowning:
Oh and lol at the hit reg.

Higher quality version of this would be very useful

I’ll have to up my recorder quality, first time testing er out (don’t have a spookify super pc)- but you can still make out the crosshair for the most part. The majority of the pistol shots were directly lined up with the head hitbox.
