List of Loadouts (WIP)

(Zenity) #41

Thanks, list updated!

Just so you know, Bronze and above cards provide no additional bonuses in anyway.

Yeah it just doesn’t seem true for Proxy so far (unless we are missing a lot more cards than I thought), so I will still wait for confirmation before I add duplicates to the list.

(Harlot) #44

Here’s some of my loadout cards that I don’t see listed in their respective rarity.

(Runeforce) #45

Obsidian Fragger B62 Beta Fighter (Spares, Quick Draw, Fail Safe)

Awesome, thanks.

Now we got a fifth bronze for Proxy, and it’s a silver duplicate. This means that if the “all silver and gold are duplicates” rule is also true for Proxy, there must be at least seven bronze for her.

So we still got a lot of work to do, please keep them coming!

But I think this already gives a really good overview of the available options, and I’m very happy with it so far. Splash Damage has set this up really well.

Some fresh blood :
Sawbonez
Iron
CR42 Utility Operative (Potent Packs, Focus)

Aura
Bronze
BL81 Classic Operative (Cool, Healing Reach, Quick Draw)

Sorry, I forgot to update earlier, I had two irons not mentionned so far yesterday.
One aura loadout is “respite operative” not “respire operative”.

Glad to help solve the puzzle, as all the mercs I play have really good bronze cards. Seeing that my bronze Fragger is superior to my gold Fragger, and that you have pretty much the same options between bronze and gold, it tells me it’s almost never worth it to trade up to gold, unless you have quite a few “bad” bronzes. Asking for 2000C and 4 bronzes to move up to silver and it potentially be a loadout you don’t want, with very little chance at gain is kind of a flawed system, in my eyes.

I kind of wish gold were just superior in some way other than skins. Higher bonuses from perks, better weapons, etc. But I love gear grinds…

Upgrading to silver and gold seems definitely worthless. Unless you want to look cool… :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks, updated!

I really think it’s great as it is. Being able to get the loadout you want is vital for competitive play, and getting bronze cards is not so hard, so that’s fair enough. It’s also great that there are iron and lead versions of each variation which just have less perks (which in most cases are not too important), so even with lead cards you can get the basic loadout you need.

Trading up after bronze still makes sense if you have duplicates (because why not  ) and more importantly, it gives you a chance to trade cards for characters you don’t play for a card you may actually want.

I just still think there needs to be a solution for duplicate gold loadouts (if that can even happen).

Anyone knows if there’s a loadout card with the throwing knife perk for Sawbonez ? That’s something I kinda look for.

(B_Montiel) #52

Some “general” perks (perks not oriented directly by the merc role) seems to be reserved to specific mercs. As for throwing knife, it seems to be kept for proxy, skyhammer and vassili sadly.

BIG UPDATE: Based on current patterns, I have filled in placeholders where possible. I have added a star to those, so please let me know if you have one of those loadouts so I can remove the star / update it. This should be taken with a grain of salt of course, but the evidence that it’s correct is pretty strong.

This is already providing a pretty clear overview of the available options. So far 7 is the highest number of loadouts per merc, but there is an indication that there may be more: The K92 Founders card for Fragger has no Bronze/Silver/Gold equivalent like all the others. So if it exists as those as well, that would push Fraggers number of loadouts to 8.

Also, each merc has three primary weapon choices. So far I usually have two loadouts for two of the weapons, and three loadouts for the remaining weapon. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually 9 loadouts per merc, with three loadouts per primary weapon.

Kind of obvious, but I realised, you get a look at the other cards when opening containers. You can see the full name and the ability icons of the loadouts. If I just knew what all those icons meant…but I do not have a full reference. Closest thing I could find was http://dirtybomb.wikia.com/wiki/Augments and http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/41389-Augment-Feedback

(Zenity) #55

Good point, I’ll pay more attention to this next time. Even without knowing all the icons, it could still provide some useful intel.

(Harlot) #56

A source with images for each loadout possible would be AWESOME!

(BomBaKlaK) #57

Can we have all this from the dev ? instead of a treasure hunt ?

(Zenity) #58

I’m sure there will be a proper library eventually. But until then I’m having fun with the treasure hunt.

Loving this topic!

Just found out through the announcements section that there’s no point (loadout-wise) to upgrade cards anywhere beyond Bronze. If I had only read all the replies sooner.

(DB Genome editor) #60

I can confirm this placeholder (marked “*” in the list):

Aura (Bronze) “R81 Superb Close Assault” (Drilled, Quick Eye, Chopper)
