Lip-Sync in DB?

I don’t know about coding and stuff, i know that DB uses UE 3, which should support lip sync, am i right?
If so why not add it? I know i would take time, but honestly i cannot see an aimee with that dumb smile always, calling for a medic

If SD is actually considering it, it’s probably at the end of priority list.
I’m not against it, but I’d rather see some new mercs, maps, crafting system overhaul, ranked improvements, casual matchmaking, bug fixes (especially those related to weapon swapping), UI improvements, actual game release…and then maybe lip sync :smiley:

This should really be one of the last things to implement. SD now seems to be on the right track new content wise, let’s not ruin it with totally unimportant little features.

I agree. This just isn’t the sort of game where you’d really notice lip-sync (or the lack of it).
I was around level 50 before I realized this game didn’t have any, it’s really not an issue

I would rather them use that kind of develpment time to implement some kind of text to speech thing in each merc voice and allow the gary’s mod wizards to make vids . I would love to see a db version of the idiot box. kinda got bored of the tf2 vids

Then we can start making merc songs, so Dirty Bomb can become a major player in the vocaloid industry, with the game itself just being some weird thing everyone forgot about.

Its not dead he recently updated his twitter to say hes on hiatus till he finds a ballance. So there still hope it will be back
