limit voting!

Hi,

pls put some limit on voting. especialy on shuffles.
if 1 vote passed please block shuffle votes for some time!

we just had some players wich voted all the time! this realy destroyed the game

one team was realy working good as a team… I first was in the opposite team with all crying and doing useless things… nobody cared about the EV but we started vote after vote after vote

then next mal (teams got shuffled at the start) the same **** again. this time i was in the together working team and again the other team running around like they have first seen the map but they started vote after vote the first passed… we did also a restart and after 2min the next shuffle vote…

and no this was not a server with all players first in the game. this was minlevel10server

I agree; one shuffle per match. Whiners keep voting repeatedly for a shuffle until they are on the team they want.

Id rather see some hints about the current team lineup. Usually a friendly reminder of the team lacking medics while having 4 snipers does the trick. Or having 6 low HP mercs getting torn by a single heavy on the other team. Explaining and pointing out factors outside the level realm helps to get a lot of the better matches. But that is something that can only work under certain conditions (which are usually met on lv10 server). Sometimes the skill gap is just too big and no shuffle will ever bring up a good match.

“Your team currently fields no medic at all. The revives could turn the tide!”
“The health pool of your team is pretty low. Consider bringing more HP to the fight!”
“The healing option of your team is weak. An Aura would be ideal!”
(Not perfect and with problems in themselves, but I hope you get the idea)

A more generic warning would possibly be stronger:
“Your team composition seems to lack certain factors. If you switch your merc, you can possibly chance it for the better!”

While we are at it: The AFK autokick vote message could use a rephrasing to something with a bit more explanation. “XYZ is afk for 1 minute. Do you want to kick him? After 3 minutes he will be removed automatically.”

I also 100% agree that the veribage on the AFK person should be changed. It does say system however it just says kick with no reason given. I also do not think people fully grasp the page up or page down thing haha!

also I think you should be on the server for some minimum time befor you are able to start a vote
alot of stupid restart/shuffle votes comes from players wich just joined… the start a vote before they fire the first bullet

All good suggestions and I’d like to add another.
I think having a reminder pop up in every match about restarting and reshuffling time limits (sometimes more than once if Attackers manages to advance) is unnecessary. It distracts having them in chat “constantly”.
Why not have it pop up only if someone tried a reshuffle/restart vote out of time? And maybe only for that person, not the rest of the players.

For that to work the cap on selectable merc’s would need to go up from 3 to 5, and players would also have forced to select one of each archetype IMO. Rather than having 5 solider types in their roster.

just some minutes ago

on bridge first round stopwatch… we are carrying the firs drugsample… shuffle vote…passed I got switched over and about a minute later the attackers had the 2nd drugsamples delivered… 2nd round started with some shufflevote again passed… then within the next minutes about 3 shufflevotes wich fail and then again one succeeded

SD please implement some vote spam protection system! its realy not fun! especialy because the shuffles dont fix any unbalanced teams!

I agree with the shuffle vote, but I also think that shuffle and kick votes should be separated with individual limit counters. If I already voted for shuffle, I still want to be able to vote kick the afk guy, because those are completely separate things.

Agree with KeMon because yesterday we had an ass**** who grabbed the charge on the last delivery objective on Chapel. He then literally ran around with it in our spawn for 5 minutes preventing us from winning the match. We could not kick him no matter how hard we tried.

some aditional thing… players should have some minimum time on the server bevor they are allowed to call votes
today again… new player joined and befor he did fire the first bullet he called vote (the 3rd one) in this round

I just like to see some SW servers with FF
why not set them up and just see how the players like them or not
